Veynes Rural cluster of excellence


The « Bois des Hauts Pays du Buëch » cluster of rural excellence, operated by the Deux-Buëch district, is located in the west of the Hautes-Alpes territory. It aims to better valorize local wood resources, support the development of wood industry businesses, assist in expanding the wood stock managed by the National Forest Office, and develop the wood-energy industry based on the processing of side-products, sub-products and waste from the wood industry.

This cluster of rural excellence federates 10 businesses and two collectivities.

Its actions include creating a storage platform for wood stocks, setting industry parks to help new businesses in the field locate to an appropriate environment, building new commodities for the production and storage of wood bricks, investing in production equipment.

 


Capenergies


The Capenergies cluster groups together more than 400 actors of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Corse, Guadeloupe, La Réunion, Principality of Monaco, actors of innovation, research, education and industrial development of green energies.

Capenergies federates more than 10,000 companies representing 50,000 employees, 2,700 researchers in 20 research organisations with a capacity of 25,000 students.

It is actives in seven industries, including:

  • Energy management;
  • Solar energy;
  • Wind energy;
  • Water energy;
  • Biomass;
  • Hydrogen;

 


Tenerrdis


The Tenerrdis cluster (the name stands for Renewable energies, New Energy Technologies) is an innovation and competitiveness cluster located in Rhône-Alpes, particularly in Grenoble.

It ambitions to develop new technologies for energy and to optimize the usage of renewable energies in buildings and transports with five action programs: solar and buildings, energy network handling, biomass, hydrogen and fuel cells, hydroelectricity.
