« Le goût de notre terre »: a cluster of rural excellence in the Hautes-Alpes
The « Le goût de notre terre » cluster of rural excellence’s mission is to develop the production and valorization of local high-quality agro-food products in the Champsaur and Valgaudemar valleys.
It relies on the dynamics of the interconnection between agro-food businesses and agriculture in these areas. The rural cluster includes more than ten companies in the field and three localities. It aims to federate the actors of the agriculture and agro-food industries in a common action to promote local products and foster economic growth for their activity.
Companies of the rural cluster are involved in the production of local and regional food specialties such as “tourtons”, “oreilles d’ânes”, “ravioles”, sea buckthorn-based products, processed pork, jams, honey, etc.
CRITT Agro-food PACA
CRITT means Regional Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer. CRITT Agro-food PACA, a partner of Hautes-Alpes Développement, is dedicated to supporting the technological development of the agro-food businesses in PACA by fostering the sharing of competencies between the actors in four major fields:
- Food Sanitary and Safety;
- Nutrition and Heath;
- Processes and industrial performances;
- Environment.
CRITT has developed a practical approach to inform companies and raise their awareness of sanitary and safety issues, help them express their technological needs, foster networking between businesses and centers of expertise, and support companies in their R&D and innovation projects.
Hautes-Alpes Développement will help you enter relationship with the CRITT’s experts for any meeting, advice, support, promotion or visit of targeted sites you may need.
The European Fruit and Vegetable Innovation Cluster
The European Fruit and Vegetable Innovation Cluster is an agro-food innovation cluster specifically dedicated to the Fruits and Vegetables industry, from agricultural production to end-products delivered to the consumer.
It includes 180 actors among which global companies (Mc CORMICK, CAMPBELL, BONDUELLE…), research centers (INSERM, INRA…), and technical centers (CTCPA, CITFL) that are national leaders in their respective fields.
The cluster aims to boost the economical development of the fruits and vegetables industry, including agriculture, food processing and distribution. It has defined five axes of action with their associated objectives:
- Speeding up the emergence of Innovation projects and supporting innovating actors.
- Strengthening synergies between actors.
- Enhancing the actors’ level of expertise.
- Improving access to export markets and international visibility.
- Informing the public.
