Rural Reviving Zones (ZRR)

130 localities of the Hautes-Alpes are included in the Reviving Rural Zones program (ZRR), which gives any newly created business the opportunity to benefit from income, business, or property tax exemptions.

These tax exemptions are detailed as follows:

  • Net income tax exemption: 100% for 5 years, then 40% for 2 years, then 20% for 2 years (accounting for 14 years of total or partial tax exemption).
  • Up to 5 years of business tax exemption can be granted for by a special decision from the territorial community concerned.
  • Built property tax exemptions can also be granted by a special decision from the territorial community concerned.
